ITINERARY
Let yourself be amazed by the magic of its history, the strength of its culture, and the beauty of its surroundings in an experience that blends the past, nature, and everyday life amid the waters of Lake Titicaca.
According to your chosen schedule, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Titicaca Puno port, where you will board the boat heading to the floating islands of the Uros. You will visit two of these islands while the guide provides information about them.
- First Island: Here, you will get a firsthand look at the daily activities of the local population, along with the fascinating history, culture, and the ingenious construction process of these islands made from totora, a plant that supports everything. Additionally, you’ll have the option to take a ride on a traditional totora reed boat, affectionately known as the "Mercedes Benz of the Uros," a unique experience that combines tradition, adventure, and a touch of local humor.
- Second Island: Known as the capital island of the Uros, it features a small craft market, grocery stores (snacks and drinks), a restaurant, and basic services.
Between these 2 islands, the family will offer you a short ride on the totora boats (optional, additional cost between S/.10.00 - S/.15.00 Soles).
Once the visit is finished, you will return to the city of Puno and be transferred back to your hotel.
